1609 words for me. I'm almost done with the author's note for my latest novel now. This one has three recipes. As I said, I'm writing cozy space opera, complete with recipes.

K'Sennia Visitor No spoo, I fear, since alien worms are somewhat hard to come by here on Earth. Great work.
Meanwhile, I wrote 1392 words today. I finished the author's note and got started on the review I owe a website to which I sometimes contribute.

Great Job Cora and prolific!!
I wrote lots of PMs today on Facebook, does that count? And I've written some Reddit comments, too. Didn't count the words used. Plus, I'm writing this comment, too. Desperate much am I? (nods head) Much desperate I am.

I never count internet comments, blogposts and the like, because otherwise I'd never get any writing done. Ditto for translation work. I do count reviews, guest blogs and the like.
I wrote 1541 words today. Some of them were for a short piece for a website to which I sometimes contribute, the rest was fiction. I finally continued working on the space opera prison break story on which I've been working intermittently for almost two years now. It's emotionally difficult to write, therefore the going has been slow. But I'm finally working on the story again.

Well done, Cora!
With all the writing you do, you don't need to count blog posts/emails, etc. You are the writing star of IAH!!!!

Only 1019 words today, because I was tired. But I finished a scene for my prison break story in space.

Thanks. Weather related headaches are the worst, because you just cannot avoid the triggers like with other headaches. You're at the mercy of the weather.
Luckily, today was a little better and I write 1462 words.

I actually handwrote some words today that could possibly go into a book one day. I didn't count them. Less than a 100 I'd say, but still they were words.

Any words are good.
I had a good writing day today. I wrote 2459 words, which include finishing a chapter of my next space opera, writing a poem and getting started on what I hope will be this year's Christmas story.

I wrote 1759 words today. My space opera novel has reached a difficult scene (my hero is about to get whipped and it's pretty brutal), so I took a break and focussed on writing a Christmas story for my Hallowind Cove series about a quirky seaside town where strange things keep happening. Oh yes, and I also wrote two e-mails.

Wrote another email, today. Well, actually, I finished an email that I started years ago. But it was all still written by me. I have now written something 3 days in a row! I love emails. I also love storms, and today is lovely and very windy. Not quite stormy yet, but nice, all the same.

I like storms, too, but then I'm from North Germany, where we have a lot of them.
I don't normally have much of a problem with writign brutal scenes, including torture scenes, execution scenes and the like. But I know the character who's about the get whipped very well by now and I'm reluctant to see him hurt. And it's a brutal punishment whipping, nothing erotic about it.
However, I wrote a good 1868 words today, mostly the Hallowind Cove Christmas story plus a bit on a review I'm supposed to deliver soon. I should have been finished with the review by now, but some of the short stories in the anthology I'm supposed to review annoy me, so it's slower going than I would like.

Hopefully, you're allowed to be honest in your review about the stories you don't like! Great job on the new words. And awe, it's a good sign when you're so attached to your characters that it pains you to see them hurt. Hurraaays for having lots of good storms where you live! I got inspired and wrote a second email. This one completely from scratch, though I was commenting on something old I wrote.

The review is honest, otherwise I wouldn't do it. And so I can also point out the stories which didn't work for me.
Meanwhile, I wrote 1537 words today.

Great job, Cora!
I made a new blog and posted 41 articles, one was written today, all the others were pre-written, but I added onto a few of them. Apparently wordpress is a bit like twitter cos I kept getting showered with follows and likes, so that was kind of fun. You don't get that immediate satisfaction with eBooks. Of course you also don't get money, unless you're writing to sell stuff, or you do affiliate marketing. I just like blog posts cos they're short, and it's all I seem to manage to be able to write, right now. I can do nonfiction. But fiction just isn't happening, for the moment.

Congrats on the new blog. And while blogging doesn't necessarily lead to direct sales, it does raise your profile. Plus, it can get you guest-blogging gigs, which means more people are exposed to you and your writing. I have a guest post coming out tomorrow and another I have to write.
Writingwise, I had a very good day today and wrote 3051 words, mostly on the Hallowind Cove Christmas story. The way it looks right now, this one will be the longest of the Hallowind Cove stories. There's lots of food in this story, because the protagonist runs a bakery.
