True, and that's the biggest drawback of a lot of forums; all the really useful information is hidden behind members-only links. Every solution has pros and cons I suppose. Right. (nods) And we have the bad authors board that is private, so anything you don't feel comfortable saying in public can be posted over there. A compromise, maybe.

Free speech is great, but it always has to be defended against the equivalent of falsely yelling fire in the cinema.
Okay, I just have to give some props here for use of the word "falsely." Almost everyone who uses this analogy misses the point of it, but David gets it. It's not about the word "fire" or the setting of the theater. It's about fraud. It's about causing a panic based on false pretenses. Because if there really was a fire in the theater, then the other movie-goers would be pretty grateful to whoever shouted "fire" and warned them about the danger.
Okay, end of tangent.
