I could see this service being worth $5. All of that submitting would get tiresome after a few. Plus, I always like to see enterprising folk finding ways to make money. I hope your service does well.

You're selling yourself short. I'd be charging way more than 5 dollars to do all that. That's a lot of work!
Good luck with the service! I'm sure you'll get a lot of clients.

I also clicked and was sent to the main Fiverr page. That means the service is no longer available. Hmm.

Not a good sign. Should I delete the thread, or leave it?

The same guy opened up a similar thread on Kboards, today, with the same link. So either you have to be signed in to Fiverr to go to his profile page, or he's really bad at linking.
ETA: If you copy/paste the link it works, so the service is indeed still in operation.
Heads up for service providers, double check your links. Don't just post and run. You will lose a lot of business that way.

I don't know why it's not working when you click on it but you gotta cut and paste.

That is weird! And this time, copy/pasting does the same thing as clicking it. And I went back to check the link he had on Kboards, and it's not working anymore, either. Curioser and curioser. I was able to find his profile on there - www.fiverr.com/greenman2015 Let's see what happens when I post it. ETA: Same thing happened to me. I guess you just have to go to fiverr.com and type greenman2015 into the search box then if you want to find him. *shrugs*

I have a question about this service. I see you say authors have to change their keywords and categories on Amazon for this to work or am I wrong? I've never seen a promotion that requires this. This seems strange to me and most authors already have keywords and categories that work best for their books. Why would they have to change this just to promote with you? Thanks!
If I am wrong, then please clarify what you mean.

Always be really careful to vet any promotion services before you use them, especially if they're on Fiverr. If you ever see anything that gives you pause, or you ask questions and don't get any answers then the service could be shady. Excellent cateches writeway!

He just posted on Kboards today advertising this again and the link went to the homepage again. Also, he never came back to answer the questions we asked. That's bad business. If you are selling products and posting on forums where people will want to communicate with you and you don't ever show back up, it's not a very trustworthy response. When you post about a business you should regularly check in on the thread to see if someone needs more information. Not coming back can cost you to lose potential business.

Yes, it's quite unprofessional. I agree. Always double check your links after posting them, and keep a record of all the places where you are posting, and schedule an hour or so a day to check in. If I was charging people money for this forum, or hoping to charge peeps money for something, I definitely wouldn't do how I do it now and sometimes not check in for a month. Which is also bad, but it is much worse when you're a business. If you are too busy to keep up with things then you need to hire a virtual assistant to do it for you. Of course, I'm not sure if fiverr provides enough income for a VA. But if it does, it's the best answer.

Exactly, it is unprofessional and it also comes off like you're avoiding answering questions as well, which doesn't look good for any business. If you have a business, you should be open to input and you should communicate. I really wanted to know why people have to change categories and keywords for this promo. I've never heard of that before.

Anytime a provider asks you to do something unusual, with no explanation, assume shenanigans.

Yep, people will assume that and that's why if that's not the case, a promoter should pop into threads once in a while to clear the air. When you don't communicate or bother to answer questions people will draw their own conclusions, fair or not.
