1. What would you like to see on this forum that you don't yet see?
A glossary of specific terms. Words/acronyms like "ARC" and "stuffer", that border on (or even are) slang. Took me a while to figure out WC was "word count" and not "water closet".
2. What one thing do none of your other forums have, that would make you love IndieAuthorHaven forever if we had it?
A lot of info for beginning authors, explained in simple terms, like you would a child. Granted, there's a lot of info out there, in the vast digital expanse called the Internet, but it would be great if it were compiled, concise, and from an established author's point of view. And make it sticky, so it's always on the first page.
3. Does this dress make me look fat?
Ummmm ...
4. Should we remain visible to everyone or should we make peeps sign up to lurk?
Yes.
On a more serious note, Kboards is visible, which has helped me a lot. It took a while for me to decide that the members and the tone were decent, and that prompted me to join. I probably wouldn't have registered if I hadn't had the chance to browse the content.
5. Do you like having everything in one forum or would you prefer separate sub forums divided by topic?
Separate forums - easier to get to what you want.
6. No, seriously, guys. I just bought this green dress on sale at Ross. Does it make my butt too round?

I, personally, don't.

Yes, definitely.

I would move the forum from proboards to a private host, under IndieAuthorHaven.com. It would give it more credibility, would make it look more professional. Of course, Proboards cannot be ported to a different host, so you'd have to find another forum software. There are some good ones out there.
