I was on amazon doing some niche research and for the first time I noticed this little notification box like you'd see on Facebook or Goodreads. And it has all of my book recommendations, like the ones that are sent to my email. I think this could be a positive thing if the recommendation engine knows what it's doing. Readers might see these notifs easier and clicking could maybe lead to purchases.
This could be something they've had for six months, I dunno. But this was my first time seeing it anyhow. Amazon seems to be making a lot of changes right now, what with getting rid of Match book and author giveaways. I wonder what they'll change next?
