Today, I received my first pageread on Book Report for a new short I published Sunday night. Well, when the image popped up I realized that I'd forgotten to add the title and author name. Arrrrgh I think I just uploaded the wrong one from before I added that stuff. I was shocked it went through, but is just more proof that humans are not in charge over there. I was wondering why it was taking so long for anything to show up for it, and now I know why. Luckily, it didn't take too long to find the correct image and upload it. Hopefully it doesn't take so long to go back through the bot review this time so readers see the right cover. Have you ever gotten distracted and done something similar, or is it just me?

I'm pretty sure I'd forget to upload my books sometimes if retailers allowed it to go through without a document. LOL! It can be easy to forget things we do all the time because we're so used to doing them that our minds are not always on the task.

Well, I was making the cover in both paint and paint.net because I'm not fully comfortable with paint.net yet, so I had different versions of the cover and I just uploaded the wrong one and didn't check the preview since it was late and I was tired.
Biggest lesson. Always check the preview!

Have you ever gotten distracted and done something similar, or is it just me? Oh yes. Usually followed by a heavy bombardment because I have no defence. Helps focus future attention. But does not eradicate the problem completely. But frequent repetition disarms all the inward. Though only when it doesn't really matter. And if it really mattered no-one else can make it worse.
