I signed up for the waiting list. I will see how it goes when I try it out. So far I am excited because it seems like it will be a much easier process than KDP Print and Ingram's. What I really like is that D2D will automatically generate print cover for your book from your ebook so that's one less hassle. We'll see how it goes when it's time. www.draft2digital.com/blog/d2d-print-now-in-beta-heres-what-you-need-to-know/

I saw the email yesterday, and it confused me because I thought they were already doing print? Every time I publish a book it asks me if I want to do a print version. I never do, so I don't know what that was about unless I have hallucinated that bit? I've only ever done one paperback with KDP Print and it was pretty easy, but I unpublished it right after. I just added my only 3 eligible books to Baker & Taylor. I am excited to see D2D continually trying to grow and get better & better.

I thought the earlier print option was just formatting it for wherever it needed to go, whether Ingram or whatnot. I could be wrong and may have missed a whole step after that though if there was one.

I could be wrong and may have missed a whole step after that though if there was one. I never clicked on that option, so it probably was just formatting. I didn't have any print books so didn't pay attention very well. It's nice they have this option that clearly they did not have before!

Yes, the earlier thing was to get a formatted PDF to upload elsewhere.
I signed up for the beta program, no idea how long before we know if we're chosen. I've been putting off doing print books because the formatting was a process and I get distracted. I didn't like the PDF options I got before, so I was doing it by hand.

I've given up on doing paperbacks. They're a pain in the patootie. Ebooks are so much easier!!!!
