www.fnac.com/ia8449533/K-Sennia-Visitor I think it's a French site. Never seen it before, but I was googling myself and this one came up. I find it exciting that I've been pirated because it means that someone thought my story was worth pirating. Not sure if the site owner has made any sales or not, but I haven't. So good luck, Mr. Pirate! If he really has the book I wonder how he got it? It might just be a phishing site. I don't know. I also discovered that I was mentioned in a Wikipedia article and a review I deleted is linked to in the source material, which makes me an authority, I guess? I dunno, but somehow I feel really validated, right now.

That's actually a legit retailer. They have physical stores and been around for a long time. They're selling for .99 so presumably you will make some money if bought from there through whoever is distributing your book with them.

It's completely legitimate. FNAC is a subsidiary--or something, not quite sure of the relationship--of Kobo. Since your book is on Kobo, it's also on FNAC.
Mine are there, too, as are anyone else's who publishes to Kobo.
Hope that eases your mind.

Looks like Kitty posted while I was writing my post. That's one thing I wish this site had: the same warning that kboards gave when someone posted to the thread while you were writing your own post.

I might be able to play around with the themes to see if I could find one that would do that. I'm not sure what other free themes are available. And thanks everyone! I had never heard of this site before. I also didn't know that Kobo added our books to other stores. Good to know!

Isn't FNAC the one that takes forever to take down your book if you decide to go into KU?

They have that reputation, yes. My advice: when changing prices on Kobo, don't do it manually. Instead, use the "schedule a price change" feature. That makes the whole process more "automatic," I think, and it works well enough for me. When I schedule a price change, it takes place on the Kobo store at midnight EST. The price at FNAC gets changed a few hours later when the French arrive at their jobs for the day. At least, that's my guess as to how it works.
Hope that helps.
ETA: I know that doesn't help the issue for those taking the book down completely. For that, you just have to be patient and nag Kobo about it until they lean on their French friends hard enough.
