The question is in the thread title. What motivates you to write? Are you motivated by money? Fame? An inner compulsion that cannot be satiated any other way? Are you motivated by a desire to quit your job? To travel the world? To prove them wrong when they said you couldn't do it?
How do you keep writing? When you're sick? In pain? Extremely busy? Just don't wanna? What motivates you then? Do you say, "fuck motivation," then just force yourself to sit down and write? Do you have pre-writing rituals that almost always help to put you in the appropriate head space for writing? Are you a fan of the, "I don't have to write today. All I have to do is type one sentence. That's all. Just type one sentence then I can do whatever I want" method?
Do you have writing pump-up music? A favorite writing chair, or lucky pencil, keyboard, hat?
Or are you lucky and simply always want to/need to write and so have trouble understanding what all the fuss is about?
