I don't know if anyone here subscribes to Humble Bundle emails or has any interest in reading books on craft (I think that reading real books is usually more beneficial), but there is a Humble Bundle on Writing. 9, 15 or 31 books for $1, $8 or $15. Closes in 13 days.

Thanks for sharing! I collect writing books but rarely read them.
I don't follow them but perhaps I should to get a better idea of what they do.

I thought it would be appropriate for me to comment on or review one of the books on the list. I have no interest in 'How to ...' books, but was interested in the subject of The Tao of Writing by Ralph L. Wahlstrom. He's a Professor of English/Creative Writing at Buffalo State and has been teaching writing for approaching forty years (I didn't check how long ago the book was written). It's very earnest, but swamped by words. Too many words. And not good words either. Not good academically either - throwing in lots of random quotes and references doesn't make something academic. I'm glad I already knew something about the concepts of the Tao, else I'd believe that using the ideas necessarily led you to being a bad writer. I read the first 10%, forced myself through the next 10%, then skimmed looking unsuccessfully for a sign of something better somewhere. If I weren't egocentric, I'd feel bad that he's been teaching writing for forty years. There are positive reviews on Goodreads; some students presumably like him; I'm just being mean now. But I don't recommend that anyone reads this book. Humble is worth supporting though.

The only humble bundle I've found helpful so far was the Chuck Tingle one. *teehee*
