Once I publish my mystery I'm going to have to try and advertise because after spending all this time writing it I can't just let it sit there and make 0 sales, and it will if I don't advertise. I'll try all the free methods first, but then I'll likely have to start trying PPC so here is a thread to talk about it, that I can use once I start. The first thing I have learned is that ACOS means Advertising Cost of Sale, and it just means that you divide how much money you spent on ads by how much money you make and it gives you a percentage that means something. *I abhor math and numbers laugh at me* But if you read a lot of AMS threads you will ACOS and ROI thrown around a lot. I knew that ROI was return on investment = how much money did you make, but I had no idea what ACOS meant, so I looked it up, and this is all I know about amazon ads, so far. sellics.com/blog-amazon-advertising-cost-of-sale-acos But I've heard it's fun like slot machines in Vegas, and people apparently make money from them. So we'll see when the time comes. Hopefully I will have some money then to play with. If anyone here has experience with them and would like to share your knowledge, feel free to jump in.

I learned one new thing about amazon ads today. I was wondering how you paid for them. Did they take them out of your earnings? Could they lift them from the bank account you use for direct deposit? Would I have to have Paypal? So I hit the button on one of my KU books to try and start one and found out you need a credit card on file, like the one you use to pay for books and that's what they take your ads money from. I only use gift cards on amazon, and don't have one up yet, so didn't do an ad. I don't know how to do them anyway. *teehee* But at least that's one question solved for anyone who has ever wondered like men.
