I don't, but maybe I should? As far as I know this is still kosher with amazon. If it's not, hopefully someone will chime in and let us know. From what I've heard you can get the affiliate links for all your other books that you include in the "other books by me" section in your back matter. And if you're writing nonfiction and you recommend any products that are sold on amazon, you can use affiliate links with those, as well.
If anyone here does do use affiliate links in their books, I would be really interested in knowing how many sales you get through it. I just can't make up my mind if it's worth it to try and figure out what my amazon associates account is - how to log back in - it's been years and years since before I published, and I never really used it. I don't like extra steps, but I do like extra money.
What say you?
ETA: I was reading Kboards and I saw there that amazon
Associates don’t allow their affiliate links to be used anywhere but on websites, so it looks like my question has been answered.

That's against TOS, and always has been. I did it for a few weeks years ago before I realized it was against TOS, and actually got a hell of a lot of traffic...but it's a bannable offense, not worth risking one's account.

Thank you, davidvandyke, twice. Thank you for your first answer and then thank you again just now because I could remember the question, but not the answer!
